Hey Boba is the Place for Drinks, Games, and Friends.

Ever been in the mood for a tasty treat? Hey Boba will fulfill that craving and even give you a peaceful place to enjoy it. Located on 71st and Lewis here in Tulsa in the Spectrum Shopping Center, Hey Boba has a variety of things you can order.

What is boba tea? Boba tea, or bubble tea, is a tea based drink poured over black gummy pearls made out of tapioca. The tea is combined with either milk or fruit flavoring and has become a popular drink. You can get it in a milk tea, smoothie, or fruit tea.

When I walked into the store, I was immediately greeted by one of the employees. The store is small and simple, but also very snazzy. The store is almost entirely white, with small pops of color. When I reached the counter to see the menu, it was astonishing. All of the different flavors and different toppings I could add into the drink. You get a choice of two different sizes: regular and large. I decided to go with the regular milk tea with regular boba. I was then handed a stamp card for the store. After buying ten boba teas, I get the next one free!

I decided to take a seat on one of their comfortable couches. The store even has a table with different types of board and card games for customers to play with while they enjoy their boba tea. The games varied from regular card games like poker and UNO cards, to chess and checkers. It gave me a feeling of nostalgia and took me back to when I was younger and would gather with friends to play these exact games. The store doesn’t make you feel like you have to rush to get your drink and get out. Instead, it creates such a comfortable environment.

After receiving my boba tea, I jabbed my bright blue straw into it and took what was one of the most refreshing tastes of a drink I’ve had in a while. The milk tea was sweet and the boba were soft and easy to chew. This drink was truly one of my favorite boba teas I have ever had.

Overall, I would describe Hey Boba as a friendly and welcoming spot. Whether you’re looking for a place to socialize or work on some homework while drinking a delicious boba tea, the environment is relaxing and is a great place to visit. I know I will be going back very soon to collect the next stamp on my card!
