Foolish Things, More Than Just Coffee

Everyone loves finding a pleasant place to order coffee and all kinds of other beverages. Foolish Things Coffee Company is one of these places to get it. Located in downtown Tulsa, it’s a great spot for finding a tasty drink and something to munch on.

The first thing I noticed when walking into the store was how spacious it was. You could sit on one of their big couches or at any of the many tables they have. I enjoyed the idea that there is a lot of room for so many people to come in and enjoy themselves without feeling crowded. The big glass windows that make up one wall of the store help bring in a lot natural light and brighten the place up. By sitting at the window you could have a view of the beautiful sunny day (or a rainy one for you rain lovers) and part of downtown Tulsa.

After making my way to the counter, I decided to be different from a usual cup of coffee and ordered a hot chocolate and a muffin.

When I took my seat to wait for my drink, I noticed the variety of people hanging around enjoying their day. There were people socializing as a group, people by themselves on their computers, and people not doing anything at all but enjoy their drink.

Everyone was doing something different but were all there for the same thing; a delicious refreshment.

When I got my drink, I noticed a nice leaf design they added to the top. After taking my first sip, I was astounded by how good it was. Not only did the drink look amazing, but tasted as well. The hot chocolate was creamy and didn’t taste chalky like other hot chocolates I’ve had before. It was nice to just sit down and sip on my drink. The muffin was soft when I bit into it and tasted great. I love snacking on something sweet when I drink a hot chocolate and the muffin made it perfect.

My impression of Foolish Things was amazing. I enjoyed the environment of the store and, most importantly, I enjoyed my drink. You should find your way downtown and stop at this outstanding store. I’ll be back to give that coffee a try next.
