Dainty Hooligan is Tulsa’s go-to Boutique

Finding the perfect outfit is a daunting task. Luckily, Tulsa women’s boutique Dainty Hooligan is here to help with the latest styles. Located at 101st and Sheridan, Dainty Hooligan is in the heart of South Tulsa shopping.

Upon entering, I am greeted by store manager Tara, who asks what I am looking for, but there is no sense of pressure. While sales employees have a reputation for being pushy and sometimes rude, Dainty Hooligan employees seem to make the experience more relaxed.

The store is very organized: casual wear to the left, followed by formal attire, and shoes towards the back. Most of the store is even color coordinated for easy shopping. The layout is obviously meant to avoid clutter, which automatically gives me a positive mood about this experience (does Forever 21 stress anyone else out?).

“We like to style our customers and take out the guesswork. We like to simplify [the process],” says Tara. She goes on to explain that personal service is an important part of Dainty Hooligan— and personal service is what you get!

While shopping, an employee guides me to what I am looking for and is approachable when I am ready for a fitting room. As someone who has always been on the shy side, the whole experience is comfortable. With helpful service and laid back conversation, the boutique gives off a family-like vibe.

After looking around for a while, I find that the pricing is very sensible— high enough to ensure good quality and style, but low enough to not cause that dreaded “set down the pretty item and walk away” feeling that all shoppers are familiar with. “It’s very trendy chic,” Tara states. “We want to bring the latest fashion with reasonable prices.”

Overall, I would sum up the experience as classy and professional. At Dainty Hooligan, you will receive top-notch service, no matter what kind of a rush you are in. The organization, helpful and friendly service, high quality, and reasonable prices makes Dainty Hooligan a store that you will want to return to— I know I will!
